good value, but staff rarely available

The apartments are very nice on the inside (lots of space--especially the bathrooms, stone fireplaces, vaulted ceilings in the 2nd floor units, large balconies) and priced very well. I think the value for your money is one of the best in San Antonio. The outside looks rundown and needs serious painting, but I don't live on the outside of my apartment so that's not a big deal to me.
The main downside to this complex is the office--they are erratic and unpredictable in the times that they are open. They are supposed to be open from 9am to 6pm daily, but will close randomly at 5:15pm for example. The wednesday before thanksgiving (a work day) they were closed before 3 pm and did not warn residents of this early closing. I hear many other residents complain about the unpredicability of the office and it's very frustrating--especially when you need to pick up a package, place a work order or just ask a question. My friends and I often joke that we'd like to work in this apartment office because you could invent your own work hours and not have to be accountable to anyone!!
