I don't even know where to start......HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE

I should have known something was wrong when I came to sign my lease and it took 2-3 weeks, unanswered phone calls and messages before my application and background check were done, but I did not learn from that. I moved in and I must say I loved the size of my apartment for the price and it comes with a Washer/Dryer. However, the apt smelled like human urine so much that you could smell it even when you were standing outside of the apartment. It took multiple calls before management ever addressed it. Eventually, my entire carpet had to be replaced. The office is never open during the hours it says it will be and no one answers the phone! My air conditioner has gone out 10 times since I lived there and has since been replaced. If you like taking 5 min showers, this is the place for you. The showers were 2 minutes, but my hot water heater was replaced so it gave me an extra 3 minutes. Management has changed several times, somewhat for the better. However, I had a large hole in my bath tub that stayed there for 2 months before it was fixed. Several times I have seen or smelled dead rats on the property, luckily none in my apt., but I do hear things in the walls and above me. I was told the apt. was going to renovated when I moved in, two years later, the renovations just started. The gate has worked all of 1 day since I moved in and my car was broken into as a result of the lack of security. Also, a chemney fell off the roof unto vehicles below during a rain storm. That shows you how old these apts really are. The pool was literally green for 11 months out of the year. It opened 1 month during the summer of 2006 and is closed every other day as we speak. There is only 1 person that does maintenance and although he is very nice, he can't possibly do everything so when call in a maintenance request, expect to wait days, weeks and even months. It will require several calls. Yes, you get a follow-up call on request that you called in months ago and if you say they are not fixed, they still don't get fixed! Are you serious' The best thing about the apt is the size, after that, it is all down hill. Oh, and your power goes out on a regular basis...enjoy having to reset your clocks daily. Also, insects are really bad. Straight up one of the worst places I've lived. IT is quite and your neighbors are fairly nice, but you can hear everything through the walls and I mean everything.
