Okay I read these comments right before I moved in when school started in August, but I figured that they were exaggerating. I was extremely excited about moving in because they made it seem like a really nice place, but don't be fooled. The sample apartment that they show people is NOTHING like the actual apartments. In the sample one there is nice new carpet and nice appliances. I was absolutely disgusted when I set foot in my new apartment. The carpet is a poop brown and extremely dirty, they didn't even bother vacuuming it. There are two holes in my counter top. The stove is rusted, the refrigerator shelves are broken, the water smells like theres a dead animal living in the pipes somewhere. If you turn the AC below 75 it freezes over and breaks and wont turn back on for 2 to 3 days. The "high speed" internet is so slow that a lot of people pay to have roadrunner installed in their rooms. When there was mold growing in my shower, I called the maintenance to come take care of it, all he did was paint over it and now its back again. Also, they make it seem like its safe because there is a parking gate. Well most of the time the gate is broken and wide open for anybody to come in. In fact, within the first week of move-in 3 cars were stolen from the parking lot. Not broken into, but stolen. When I asked them if they were going to fix the gates because of the theft, they said that it didn't matter because either way they would find a way to get in. That's like saying I'm not going to lock my door at night because either way a robber would get in.

Definitely don't go potluck, I don't think they ever look at the surveys, I am 18, a freshman, and I don't party. I got paired with a girl thats 24 and smokes pot every night.

The people in the housing office are pretty rude and it is so true what people say about it being impossible to break your lease. It's also impossible to switch roommates. If you have trouble with your, they make it extremely hard to switch, you have to go to a stupid counseling session with them. This place is definitely not worth the money. If you are thinking about living here, I advise you to look ANYWHERE else except here and if you have already signed a lease, break it before its too late!
