The rent is sooooo much higher than the place is worth. Rats live in the walls and run around at night and I find evidence of them around the apartment in the morning.

I can agree with the rats. I lived at Ventana from 2002 - 2004 and had a rat die in the electrical cords behind my stove. I didn't find it until it started to smell and decompose. I put it in a bag and took it into the office and they just look at me like, "what the problem?" It was ridiculous!
