I lived at VS from 11/04-02/06. This complex is a great place to live, and Holly is by far the best staff assistant known to man. (not sure if she still works there). I lived in the second largest one bedroom apartment on the third flood (I might add), and this was by far the nicest, largest, and most decently priced apartment available. I especially enjoyed the little pocket parks between the buildings. (great place to walk your dog or let them do their business) I never had any problems with management, maintenance, parking or crime compared to some of the other apartments where I lived. I'll have to admit the train is annoying and it does run all hours of the day and night; within no time I was use to it. Like most apts, you do have noisy neighbors, but this is to be expected. (dial 311 - works wonders / forget about 911 or calling the police for noise disturbances). Unfortunately, De Zavala Rd has some of the worse traffic due to all the schools and stores in the vicinity. It takes sometimes between 20-30 minutes to get from VS to IH10 in the mornings and evenings. (you have been warned). Another thing, this apt complex is fairly small, which I found to be a plus and charming. Like I said before this is overall a great complex, and I enjoyed my stay. Matter of fact, I might even move back if my house shopping doesn't work out. Hope this review helps.
