I've have been unhappy since I had to moved into these aptartments.Don't get me wrong-the place/property is beautiful and it's a GREAT location however I'm so tired of being harassed for things that I'm not doing wrong.I moved in December and it being my very first apartment on my own,I was so excited.I have a dog and I was aware that these people charge pet rent($10)-NO BIG DEAL! Well, only being there for not even 2 weeks and I was getting nasty notes from the people below me that I make TOO MUCH noise! Excuse me for having a real JOB that requires me to get up early and GO to work instead of staying home find ANYTHING to nag and complain about.I wasn't even home to make any noises (nor my animal)Then, when I get home early evening,I felt like I had to walk on eggshells IN MY OWN APTARMENT! Sorry, no one should EVER have to feel like that and excuse me for dogs liking to run and want to play when there home and see their owner. It even states in the residence handbook that I was given that "quiet hours are between 10AM-10PM"!! This isn't my first apartment that I've lived in so I understand that all sorts of noises occur and I handle them especially when people are above me-however I have courtesy and try not to make noises. So, I let the staff know and they were very polite, especially Taylor, however she let the manager, Muriell Hicks know. Muriell said she inform the residents not to be leaving any notes- a lot of good that did because then the next day- the people leave yet another nasty note & I get a note from the Muriell about the noises.EXCUSE ME!!I called again (even called the courtesy office after office hours)and inform the them about the notes and that those people keep banging on my floorboard late at night and keep slamming doors. They inform me that they would take care of the problem and speak with them. The next day I get a call that either I move out of the apartment into another one within the complex or I would get a violation. WHAT!!!!!! What the heck did I do' So, after being back and forth-I moved while being a little over a month pregnant-not suppose to be taking it easy, docs orders (and the office knew I was pregnant which I miscarried after all this mess and when I moved into the second apt.Does Muriell care'' NO SHE DOESN'T)!!!! So much for things going smoothly.
The new apartment that I moved in has a garage connected-perfect! No more nasty notes nor me making "noise" anymore....WRONG! One day a friend parked behind my garage -which does have a one way entry and I have a "NO PARKING FIRE LANE curb. Well, he did park for a few hours to unload furniture -and when I come out to MOVE the truck vehicle, theres a "warning" sticker on my window for me not to park by the Fire Lane or I would be towed-ok, even though I wasn't blocking anyone-it was understandable. However, when I see the manager or staff members have friends/family do it, and they themselves park on the Fire Lane-then I get upset-and NOT just for a few minutes-it is for hours or overnight.I took pictures with the times and some have 10pm,10:30pm,6am... Not only do they not set an example or enforce the rules and regulations, but I guess they can not read and comprehend what "NO PARKING FIRE LANE" means.
Then, what is the point of paying rent for a garage when I have a neighbor blocking me to either park in or leave' It even states that "if anyone parks in a Fire Lane, Handicap or blocks anyone s garage, they will be towed without notice." I can't even park in my own garage because I'm afraid to be blocked and run late for work . Since,I was blocked I had to park away from my own apartment-I did call the courtesy office and they inform me that they would handle it. Luckily, I park away and not run late because the truck was still there blocking my garage Yea what a waste of time. I really love the property and I love my apartment and the location however I just want to break my lease because of all the harassment and notes and lazyness of the manager. I regret ever moving here and signing a lease with these people.I would NEVER recommend my family or friends to move here.

Taylor is nice, but her sister was the GM when I lived there and that woman is a raging c u n t. My wife was a middle school math teacher (now med student) and I have regular office job. I complained about my pothead loser neighbors till I was blue in the face. Finally one night my neighbor and I had words. He and 2 of his friends jumped me and I was the one kicked out of the complex. I moved to The Village at Shavano Park after that. Highly recommended for working professionals. I now own a house but if I had to go back to an apartment, it would be at the Village of Shavano Park. Burn in hell Hampton Cove!!!
