Do not move to this apartment complex

I have been a resident of this apartment complex and I can say that the management is the worst that I ever seen in my adult life. They do treat you nicely upon move in, but shortly after, you are forgotten. We have had major maintenance issues that were not dealt with until they were at disasterous proportions, or not dealt with at all. My children's roof had a leak for over 3 months. We lived with mold in our apartment for 2 weeks before the problem was addressed. When it was, maintenance simply spray painted over the mold, which of course, resulted in it growing back. It was another week before it was taken care of properly. Our entryway tiles are crumbling and my toddler has come close to swallowing the pieces of grout on several occasions. Maintenance has come to "fix" the problem, but the result is uneven tiles, which my family has tripped on several times, and grout that is still crumbling. In response to these, and a multitude of other issues, management has promised me concessions and that these issues will be fixed. However, their promises ended as soon as I signed another lease. I just fell for their lies again and signed a lease, but now they are attempting to take away my concessions and have yet to fix any of my maintenance issues. I am trying to get out of my lease. If you value your family's safety and want to get your money's worth, don't live here.

You moved into a place that is 24 years old, yet you act like you were moving into a brand new place. I'm sure you're the type of person that drives a Pinto and expects it to run like a Lexus. I see your responses all over this web site. You moved out April 08 and now everyone will know that you have no life and just have too much time to get over your anger by getting on to web site like this. Apparently you don't care about your children; if you did you would have taken more action to get the problem corrected; keep in mind - you aren't the only bozo living there! It's you're fault, really, if you think about it. You should have read the lease before signing it, regarding your fees and chargebacks for broken leases. ---- so WHO'S THE BOZO NOW?????

Sounds like you're the bitter one. You have no idea what we went through and what steps we attempted to get out of this lease. The problem my friend, is that I did do my research and there are no laws in Texas to protect Tenants rights. Your hands are pretty much tied once you sign a lease in Texas. You might want to be careful before you jump to conclusions about what you think someone thinks, did or didn't do, or who they may be. You are making uneducated guesses. Things have a way of coming back around to you. You get what you dish out. Besides, if you are not a member of the office staff, then why would you waste your time on here just jumping other people? The reason I am "WASTING" my time on here is because I don't want anyone else to suffer this same fate. I care about others. Yes I am angry, bitter, and pissed off at this complex. I will continue to trash them like they did me. How dare you say I don't care about my children... regardless of what I have posted on here has nothing NOTHING to do with my children, nor whether I have a life or not. If your idea of life is living here, then I am certainly not worried about what you think. I will NOT stoop to your level and call people names either. Sorry hon, I'm the one coming out smelling like roses here. You just showed your character. No, I don't drive a pinto, but I would because I do not judge people like you obviously do. I don't drive a Lexus either or expect my pinto to drive like one. You see, I am a humanitarian and rather than sink my money into a Lexus, I would rather help people. Thus, even more reason for me to shelter people from this place. Okay... anyone reading this... this is OBVIOUSLY a member of this complex management team. Who else would post something like this? Do you REALLY want to live here and put up with this type of ridicule? I'm glad this person posted because it is just proof of the type of people that work here and how the tenants are treated. Bozo? Ha. I will continue to make time for this website, whether I have a life or not according to you, because I will not let this issue rest. Ya'll don't deserve it Villages of Cinnamon Creek. It's 10:00 your late to open the office AGAIN, hope no one needed anything. Maybe you should stop wasting your time on here and go to work now. That's a good little bitter person.

Hey "Do Not Move To This Apartment Complex" - you are absolutely right - that other poster is definitely from the leasing office and I'll bet anyone money that I can pinpoint which one it is or which one of her flunkies she put up to it. Here's a tip VOCC residents: if you sit in the waiting area of the office long enough, you'll pick up on who's who, who's doing what, special "pet names" that manager has for her "problem" residents, who owes how much, who's messing with who and who likes boys and who likes girls. You are not wrong for posting your experience but they will try to make you out to be the "unreasonable" person by doing what they do best, sticking together and making up stories to justify their unethical actions and practices. Keep posting - they deserve bad reviews and bad recommendation percentages.
