And by the way with the management of The Villages of Cinnamon Creek when they were still accepting packages they tried to keep the one from Apple. I kept going into the office to pick it up as we had the card from the carrier. They kept denying it was there. Then finally I printed out the confirmation from the carriers website and wouldn't you know it. It was found just like that.
When we first moved in we had to clean our apartment. It really wasn't that dirty, but still.
The main problem we had was getting maintenance to come and fix things. It took six months before someone actually came to start fixing things. And that was because I told them I would go to the property management company and complain.
Staff had changed once since we lived there.
I liked my neighbors. I never noticed anything illegal going on, but I don't doubt what people are saying.
We also had a problem with the a/c leaking in the hall bathroom, what appeared to be mold and it went unattended for six months. We did not use the bathroom because it was too disgusting. When they finally came out to fix it they placed a board over the so called mold.
Management is out in never never land. How they got their jobs is beyond me. I could do a better job and so could a lot of the residents there.
I have seen worse at other apartments so I'm not saying not to move in there. It is up to you.
There is rumored that child molesters live there. If this is the case the residents are not being told and this is a family community.
I heard of a case last year where a teenage girl was attacked by the swimming pool and had she not screamed who knows what would have happened to her. Also, that the so called assailant was not a resident.
The security gates were never locked. Or even closed. EVER.
There were ---- roaches everywhere when we moved in. I had the bug man come a few times then took care of that myself. It was disgusting. We couldn't even use the dishwasher because I would find them in there went I went to empty the clean dishes out. I just ended up doing dishes by hand. By the time winter came last year I had them under control. Never saw another one once summer was over.
