I have no idea how this apartment complex has such a high rating. I was scheduled to move in to this place and winced when I pulled up to the front gate simply because of the appearance. I took the keys from the front office and walked to the apartment I was supposed to move in. The washer and dryer are stacked inside of the closet in the bedroom, the bathroom was outdated by many years, paint peeling off the ceiling, the appliances in the kitchen were yellowed and straight out of the eighties, drawers were off track and fell out when pulled on, the cabinets were cracked inside and the finish from the wood (inside) was torn off. The frames of the windows were rusted; mold was visible in all the air ducts and grates. I noticed that on the door there were 3 locks. Two home installed deadbolts and there were extra bars on the sliding glass door in the living room. Light switches were dirty, doorknobs were plastic. Overall, the apartment was small, stuffy, old, grey and didn t feel safe. The door on the apartment below the one I was supposed to move into had been kicked in and had been repaired with what appeared to be rubber cement. No assigned parking, inconvenient entrance keys to get in (and out) of parking lot. I had a bad feeling about the place and didn't move in. I handed my keys right back to the attendant in the office and checked into a hotel until I could find more suitable lodging. Good thing too! Another person I know moved in and has had nothing but trouble living there. That person is currently trying to get out! Good luck if you choose to live in this apartment complex. There are a lot of great places to live in that area for competitive prices.
