I currently live here under a corporate apartment lease with the US ARMY. I can say that the office staff is absolutely horrible. My dog has a higher IQ than those stupid spoiled ditzes!! One actually drives her Lincon Navigator to work everyday and she lives in the complex!!! Talk about a lazy ----!!
Right after we moved in we were informed that our assigned parking space was down the street and around the corner from our actual apartment. I asked Melissa for some consideration since I have a disabled son and she told me tough and that I had to deal with it. Or I can hope that the handicapp parking near our apartment is open. I had to threaten Melissa with the American With Disabilities Act. Finally after a month the space near our apartment was suddenly available.
For 3 months the garage refused to work. Every time I called about the issue Melissa told me it was not an issue since it was not an emergency! WHAY THE F$%K''' If I cannot get my car out of the garage that is an emergency!!
There are fire-ants everywhere and again the office staff said we cannot send anyone one but once a week. AGAIN WHAT'''' My 12month old son had fireant bites!
Then we had some ghetto hoodlums move into our building and all we could hear was people shouting and screaming upstairs! Saying things like wheres my money BI^%$CH Forget the courtesy cop!!!! He is a worthless piece of crap!! I had paged him over a dozen times and have yet to receive a response to our ghetto neighbors conducting a drug business in our building.
Finally I got fed up with it and called my corporate apartment representative and complained to them. They were so angry that they are blacklisting this place for future US ARMY residents
IN summation DO NOT RENT HERE!! They will rip you off and waste your time and sanity!!

It has been our experience that very often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for non-payment of rent or other lease violations, those who have never actually lived on the property or are posted by competitors. Be cautious in assuming the truthfulness of postings by persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We recommend visiting the property to come to your own unbiased conclusions about our community and its management.

I had to pay for an exterminator out of my own pocket for the ant problem. Management stated it wasn't an emergency although the ants were in my sons bed and all throughout the kitchen and dining area. Easy for management to say everyone complaining are bad apples but they are wrong...they are trying to save their own necks

Miltary and anonymous dude, I went by to look at this apartment complex the other day because the amenities look so awesome ( pool, indoor BB court and RB court, etc. ) This is also why i'm chcking out the ratings here. Anyway, that's besides the point. I currently live at Walker Ranch and I can say I've never had those kind of problems in the past 2 years here. If you look at the ratings for Walker Ranch, there are some negative comments which are the complete opposite of the truth ( at least in my opinion and experience) but anyway, I always recommend Walker Ranch to any one I meet looking for an apt. in this area. I used to live at Salado Crossing for a while ( never move there btw) and had the fire ants problem there. Over here they do preventative maintenance in which they go around i guess spraying stuff to prevent stuff like that. Anyway, just thought i'd mention it. Hope this helps in case you all are looking to move out when your lease ends.

I am a military wife and I can tell you that it takes alot more then ONE soldier to put this property on the off limits list. I visited the property right after it opend and would have loved to live there, and was going to but I ended up needing a 3 bedroom and the price was a little much so I went elsewhere. Everyone at the front was nice and polite to me. If I ever get to move into a 1 or 2 again I will be checking back with this property! The only negative I found was the airplanes were loud going over, but inside the apartments I could hardly hear them.

Again, I live here and it's great. Sure we had a few scorpions, but we also had more rain that year than we had in about 20 years. When that happens, bugs come inside. It would have been pointless to treat the exterior, especially with all of the rain. I highly doubt that management would refuse to have your apartment treated, except for the fact that you shouldn't perform an interior fire ant treatment around a 1 year old. If your child was bitten up that badly, you evidently did not pay enough attention to their room and needs as a young baby. If someone was parked in a handicap parking spot, call the tow truck. And lastly, yes, you may have in fact had a hoodlum encounter. Be scared, they are everywhere!

I've lived here for a year, and haven't had any run-ins with scorpions or snakes, although I saw several postings on this site before we moved in. Just wasn't too worried about them. The ginormous flying roaches that live in the woods, and greet me every so often on the patio- well, I'm not down with them! When we moved in our carpet was rather dirty- they said they would come clean it and never did. I think they've only sprayed our apartments once for bugs in the years time. I'm concerned they will be coming in from outside soon. Over all, the quality of the homes are amazing. I've lived in 5 complexes in my life, and owned a home, and the inside of these are nicer than my house was! Haven't had any bad run-ins with staff. Basketball court seems to be in use by a LOT of young, non- residents and it makes it a little awkward for actual residents to use the facilities. Pool is often still locked WAY after it is supposed to be open. Grounds are nice- they could spray for bugs more and blow the breezeways out better. All in all, it's a pretty nice place to live.
