College crowd, major problems slow response

New apartments with a partying college crowd. I have children and have gone to the pool several times only to have to leave because of the extreme drinking and loud private parties. My kids were afraid to play because of the out of control college kids.
There is only one trash compactor on the entire property which is not cool ...you have to pack your trash in your car to get it there or pay somebody 20 a month to take it down there for you.
Lastly my building shifted this Summer due to the drought. This caused floor to ceiling cracks in one building the management is still collecting estimates and talking about expenses over 30 days later. Expressed dissapointment and management said they are at the mercy of contractors. Brand new complex management taking no accountability for shoddy workmanship...blames draught will not give timeframe for repair. Summer bought series of non stop ants(maybe the cracks in the wall). 1/2 through gatekey stopped working asked for replacement told by management to go to cvs to buy batteries, asked how to open key fob told to figure it out or be charged an arm and leg for them to do it. I was appalled at their responses
Will not renew, will leave to the college kids...not the luxury I thought we were signing up for-

We also have children, so this was a very helpful review to let us know that this is not a good place for quiet families.

welcome to san antonio loser! building shifting is a fact of life here! my 700K house shifted as well!! cost to stabilize a foundation 30k. apartments do not make but 4-5% profit return on investment. not surprized they find it hard to come up with the money to fix it right away! buy your own house so you can cry to yourself about the problems it will cause you as well.

I did buy a house instead of renewing my lease. I'm glad I did not renew at this apartment complex. The service only went downhill. If you were paying the kind of rent these people were charging you may have had a problem with floor to ceiling cracks in 3-4 rooms as well. Anywho, you live in a 700k house (that you want everyone to know about) but have time to comment on apartment web pages... now who is the stupid renter? I wish I had the comments listed later down the line before I had signed my lease at the then Melograno. The only good news was I got out before the management changed and I did receive a fair shake with my deposit.
