I have lived here for 11 months in building 4. I can't renew my lease for personal reasons but I definitely would come back again if possible. We had a few problems when we moved in but we were literally moving in when the builders were leaving. Less than a week in, the ice maker in the apt. above us leaked and stained our ceiling and wall but was fixed over a period of a few days. Our apartment is not that well made. Wood is shorted on some of the baseboards, paint job is not done well and there are some minor cracks in the walls from shifting. No problems with insects.
Other bad things were thin walls...particularly if you have someone living above, you can hear every footstep. Parking...hard to find if you come home late but it looks like they are beginning to enforce their towing policy so this may not continue to be a problem. There are no assigned parking spaces unless you have a garage. Management is hit or miss at times depending if you speak with different people, they sometimes tell you different things. They are friendly but in my opinion, they will not make any extra effort for you and are basically sticklers on their policy. Although, they wanted us to pay for an extra key tag for the other person on the lease but we pointed out in the contract that it said whoever was listed on the lease, gets a key tag for free so they gave us the extra with no charge. College residents...lots of students who are loud, especially early in the morning hours and don't have much consideration for those that have to work during the week. I'm a pretty laid back person but yelling or fighting at 4 in the morning on a Tues. night or continuous honking, peeling out in the parking lot, and broken bottles is a bit much. Things like that were problems with the younger crowd. Garbage is a problem if you don't like taking your garbage to a compactor on the far side of the complex but we all saw how unsanitary dumpsters could be if we had them so the compactor makes it much neater and cleaner to have on the property.
The good things were decent management for the most part, nice, new, modern property in a great location, not as many apartments for the sake of a smaller community, nice pool, landscaping is upkept, pet friendly and pet waste pick-up stations around the property but are at certain times empty. They have a well-done monthly newsletter and are good at informing you if they need to get in your apartment although they don't give a lot time before they come. The sometimes have meet and greet parties during the year.
All in all, I would definitely live here again.
