parking is ridiculous here. they don't build enough spaces for residents and guests, then they don't bother to assign residents with spaces.

so their solution' give residents parking stickers then extort them for a $50 deposit for every visitor they want to get a pass for.

if you don't get a sticker, there are about 12 spaces for your guests OUTSIDE the apartment. a little limited for a 300 units apt complex or is it just good extortion' the rest of your visitors are fair-game to the towing thieves of san antonio: a whopping $175 towing fee.

anyways, decent place for the PRICE if you want to throw your money away (it's probably your parents' money so who cares right). it's also great if you don't have any friends, g/f, and/or b/f.

just imagine what it would be like if you had to pay $200, waste 3 hours, and fight with your b/f or g/f right before your big medical exam to go pick up your towed car...

I am a medical student who lives at the apartment complex and COULDN'T AGREE MORE!!! I borrowed a friend's car to drive home, and unaware of the parking policy- I parked outside my building. This was at 1:00am and there were lots of spaces open where I parked. I woke up at 6am (so goes my life of no sleep in medical school) to go get her car and it was GONE. TOWED. I had to pay $180.00 and drive almost 30 minutes out to pick it up. It was a nightmare. I have many, many, MANY other problems with this complex and cannot wait to move out- But I just had to second your opinions. Parking is a REAL PROBLEM at the Melograno. I don't recommend this place to anyone. (ps: how much do you love Patti?)

ha ha - I'm in the office right now reading this... I always feel SO bad when I see them showing people the proporty. I want to run up to them and say 'run away while you still can!!' We had the same towing problem. My boyfriend came to visit at 10pm, he was in the apt for about 2 hours when I remembered the 'no parking' rule. He ran out, and within that short time, his truck was gone! Oh, and isn't it funny how Patti only smiles at you when people are around?? HATE THIS PLACE!
