I am moving to the San Antonio area this fall. I came up earlier this spring and signed with Melograno. I thought it was a nice enough place! BIG MISTAKE!
The management promised me a certain apartment with a certain rate. They later called me saying that they gave away the apartment and that they could not get it back. They said that they were sorry and the leasing agent who I signed with is no longer working for them. They told me I could have another apartment with a better view and would only have to pay $50 more a month!!! Needless to say I was furious! I tried negotiating an agreement but they said that the view was better and they would not budge on the price!! I called and spoke to the owner, who said she'd do whatever she could to help. Not true. They took $5 off a month! That better be a freaking spectacular view for an additonal $45/month! If this is any indication of what living at Melograno is like... I'm glad I found out now! Very unprofessional staff!!
