Villas at Medical Center is a member of the Texas Apartment Association. It has been our experience that very often negative comments posted on this website are by residents who have been evicted for non-payment of rent or other lease violations, those who have never actually lived on the property or are posted by competitors. Be cautious in assuming the truthfulness of postings by persons who refuse to disclose their identity. We recommend visiting the property to come to your own unbiased conclusions about our community and its management.

Not true, if this is anonymous how do they know who posts? I lived there, never had a late payment, turned in my 60 day notice and I hate the place. I couldn't wait to get out and never look back. Plus, I received a letter saying I was getting money back and still have not seen a cent of it. Thanks for nothing!

I have lived here for 2 years, and watched this complex go down the TUBE. The current management has successfully increased the prices per apartment at least $70. The grounds are horrible, they are littered with beer bottles and dog poop. The previous management had beautiful shrubbery outside the buildings that is now about to die and littered with trash. They let the dumpsters over flow NUMEROUS times. There has also been at least 6 car breakins outside of my building along over the past 3 months, and they've done NOTHING to notify the tennants or protect us. I HIGHLY do not recommend this complex, and will NOT renew my lease.

As a resident who has lived here for 18 months, I also encourage you to come out and personally see the sad state of our apartment. If you come on a weekend, be sure to stroll by our trash compactor that always has trash bags piled along the ramp and into the parking lot. Come check out how empty our parking lot is at 6 pm when all guests in the complex must leave if they had not given a $50 check to the leasing office earlier that day. If you come after 6, you might see someone crawling underneath the back gate to get inside since they have been reduced to parking on the unlit street and there is no pedestrian access gate (that has been promised for the past year). If you come at 7 am, you will most likely see broken glass next to a car that has just been burglarized. PLEASE COME TODAY to check out the white Dodge Charger parked by the back gate that is up on jacks with 4 shiny rims and wheels missing (It's been that way for the past 3 days). Also note glass on ground to right of car. If you???d come a couple of months ago, you could have seen the flat screen TV from the leasing office laying in the front yard that some burglars were unable to successfully carry away. Unfortunately, this was no surprise to our residents since the light at the entrance near the call box has been out since the change in management this past summer. It's a scary thought that our management's stance on our crime problem is that it is the resident's responsibility to keep up online with current crime statistics for our area. We have yet to ever receive any kind of notice regarding the vandalized/stolen cars or stolen property from the leasing office. While our apartment does not particularly have an unsafe feel at night, there have been many thefts that we learn about from other residents seeing broken car windows or by talking directly with a resident who's had his car stolen from our lot. One good thing that deserves mentioning is the rapid response time to maintenance requests. Our maintenance staff does a wonderful job taking care of all of us. They gets the job done quickly and completely. I am not a non-resident, or someone who's been evicted, or a competitor apartment employee. There are actually quite a few of us living here who are educated, courteous, rent-paying residents who moved in with the hope that this would be a nice place to live. Hopefully this apartment can be restored to the quality it was when we first moved in. This could easily be achieved if the management took the time to listen to our concerns and took action. This means putting the racquet ball court on hold until after we've figured out how to let our residents have a guest over for dinner after 6 or keep our cars from being vandalized/burglarized. While I'm glad we can advertise that we have a courtesy officer living on the premises, we are still experiencing extreme crime rates in our own parking lot/leasing office. My biggest problem here is with the disrespect and nonchalant attitude of the leasing staff. This is clearly evidenced in the initial post by VCManagement who suggests that these negative comments posted on this site only by residents who have been evicted . . . those who have never actually lived on the property or are posted by competitors. The attitude that these frustrated posts are just from losers who can't pay rent and other illegitimate voices is exactly the same attitude displayed to the residents. The staff is not concerned with the fact that they are in a service industry or that we as residents have a choice where we live. The attitude that you can take it or leave it is clear when talking to any of the leasing staff. The main reason why our residents, and I, are voicing our opinions in this very public forum is because we are not heard behind closed doors in the leasing office. We hope this will encourage management to show interest in our opinions and take action. I would happily post a positive advertisement about our complex if I felt this was a safe, quality place to live. I have never felt the need to post negatively until living here. This post is in response to VCManagement's bit about how every post on this site is from a degenerate with an illegitimate reason to speak.

Hmm. I have lived here for oh about three months. Already had to noise complaints yes we like to party (only one complaint was warranted) . But the staff and office manager were very neutral not just taking in to consideration one side. Which was surprising and nice. The noise is not so good but there apts what do you people expect? Parking is better than most i have livd in. The grounds are amazing it looks more like a resort. There not dyeing by my building be who knows i dont go to the back of the complex very much.

The application is the most stupid procedure on earth. Just wonder how this VCManagement got the contract. They should pay the workers a bit better to get better quality. Does any one know who the property owner is? I would love to send them my opinion about VCM. Tom
