I am in the Air Force and getting ready to PCS to Ft. Sam. After some checking online and with current students, I have realized that Villas at Oakwell Farms is a complete scam. The negative experiences are certainly obvious from this website, however, I encourage you to report your experiences to the Ft. Sam housing office. When I called the housing office for a list of potential apartments, Villas was one of the listings. I told the housing office that I had heard nothing but negative reports about management and how they conduct business...e.g. maintenance issues, unreturned deposits, hidden charges, poor customer service, etc. The housing office had not heard of these types of issues before and they are not able to act on it unless they get these complaints in writing. Luckily, I found out about this place before I moved in. It is VERY important we protect future military personnel from encountering the same poor rental experience. Please REPORT THESE ISSUES TO YOUR LOCAL HOUSING OFFICE!!!

A letter is on its way to the housing office. I tell you what, there is some truth in you folks comments. I am not sure what the answer is, but best to stay away from here.

Thanks for the idea. Our letter is on the way as well. I hope that they will be black listed at the FSH housing office.
