We currently live at Aztec Springs and we are more than ready to move out. Our nightmare started before we even moved in. The office person just could not get it together. They kept telling us that we need to come back to get our lease printed out but when we did, it was yet again a different story. The movers were ready to move our furniture in but we were STILL not officially tenants. Once that was straightened out, we quickly noticed all of the problems inside of the apartment. One fo the kitchen outlets blew our microwave out and the office personnel said it happened because the microwave was too strong for that outlet! The refrigerator was not working upon our arrival because of the faulty wiring in the kitchen area which also caused our microwave to blow. There were no racks in the oven. We chose a town house so there was an upstairs and downstairs. There were several telephone jacks in this apartment but the main ones did not work (master bedroom, kitchen, etc.) When the office was informed of this, the told us to call the phone company ourselves. They made it clear that they had nothing to do with it. We called the phone company and they wanted to charge us to fix it when it should have already been operable upon us moving in. Our tubs began to peel because they were painted. We called this in as a work order and it took over three months to respond. Our air conditoner flooded and our washer faucet connectors leaked all of the time. Dealing with the office personnel is very frustrating. I have no idea what kind of work order system they have in the office because you often have to call in the same work order more than once.

Bottom Line.....this is a place that was built in 1963. It is extremely old! That is definitely the first problem. You cannot take a very old place and try to modernize it with CHEAP new appliances. Well, honestly, the only new thing was the stove. The refrigerator is very old and the dishwasher is so old and out of touch with the apartment that it will not close properly (supposedly fixed by maintenance at one point). They try to entice you by saying, "This was an old time share property and we took it over. There are many different floor plans here so you have a lot to choose from." I just hope you do not end up living right next door to the old retired military guy who has the outside jacuzzi that often attracts flies and dead animals because it is filled with stagnant water. If you ever have to get your painted tubs repainted, cover everything in your house that is black because the white residue from the paint will ruin it just as it did our nice black computer desk and chair. I truly do not reccommend this property to anyone at all!!!!
