I recently moved away from this apartment complex. It has been taken over by Vision Property homes and the issues have gotten worse. The new office management act like school children rather than adults. If they do not like you, they will do nothing to help you. My lease was up in January 2005 and the office still has not given me my deposit back from the two bedroom and the one bedroom apt that I had from the year before. The women in the office often act nice to you in front of your face but behind your back talk about you. They have even tried firing an employee because of all this back talking.

The new owners have tried to remodel the apartments but it seems to have made it worse. Construction blocks the entry ways and my car was covered in filth from all the construction. Besides that, nothing ever seemed to work. The lights in the master bedroom blew out and it took maintenance a month to fix it, and about every two weeks management would turn of the water in the whole complex for about 6 hours. After they turned the water back on, we would not have hot water for about a week. This continued for about a 6 months.

The area is a good area, but there are so many problems there that it is not safe for children. There are drug dealers living in the complex and often loud parties. I have also seen the new pictures of the complex online and I am in total disbelief because I had never seen the place so clean, I am guessing that they cleaned it for the picture. And the security gates have never worked.

I was going to give this place another try but when I wanted to make another lease, Megan, the head manager of the office, raised the price up about 300 dollars. I later found out that was because she did not like me. Villas of Ventana is an apartment complex that is a place full of lies. I am so much happier since I have moved out of this area. I would not even recommend this place to someone I disliked.
