This place is like living in a third world country. The water is shut off about every third day (it's off as I write this). Sometimes they leave notice, sometimes they don't. I have a 6 inch thick stack of water shutoff notices that I plan to drop on their desk when I finally leave here. We had to go without hot water for 9 days because they were too cheap to BUY a water heater (they wanted to wait for thier current supplier so they could get some warranty money back). If your neigbors smoke, so do you! The A/C system takes the smoke from one apt and dumps it into the rest of the building! Ants and silverfish seem to rule this place. Roaches aren't too bad, but ants get into everything....cabinets, pantry, bathroom, bedroom, computer printer even (must be really DUMB ants). Graffiti, thugs, and theft galore! Access gates don't work, and are so messed up I doubt they ever will (but the thugs are on the inside, so what does it matter'). Speed bumps are too high, so unless you drive a truck, you'll scrape. Electricity blinks out every now and then....and the utility rooms look like MAJOR fire hazards, with exposed wires all over, water leaks, insulation bulging out of the wall. The water circulation pump in my building started making a sound through the walls one night, and it got louder and louder for a WEEK before it was fixed....this thing was so loud I couldn't sleep. For a week. And it happened again a month later. For another week. After they said they had REPLACED it (turns out they just RIGGED it). And no matter what happens to you, THEY WON'T LET YOU LEAVE. Most people end up breaking their leases anyway. I value my credit score, so I have ridden out the storm (although I rarely ever stay here, and I put all my valuables in storage long ago). The place is also very LOUD at night. People yelling, rap music, cars getting revved up and peeling out....generally immature stupid stuff. The staff is friendly, but that is the only thing this place has going for it. I probably forgot 10 more problems, but I think you get the idea. Just stay away from here, it's honestly one of the worst places in town. Just to be on the safe side, I'd stay away from ANY complex run by Vision Properties.
