Just so that people know...I lived in this complex many years ago when the place was called La Arboleda then changed to Aztec Springs. It was a terrible experience. All of the reviews you have read before this are accurate and that is several years after I have lived there, so that should raise a red flag...Some things never change. After my window was shattered by a burglar and replaced by cardboard for a month, after my apartment flooded several times and black mold grew, hospitalizing my daughter with pneumonia from the mold, after my front door was kicked in by maintainence because it wouldn't open, I decided to leave. They wouldn't let me of course and gave me 2 months free rent and a different apartment instead. Then management changed and all the old files were supposedly taken by the previous management company. The new company claims I never paid rent for two months, untrue of course since that was part of the agreement I had with the previous company. They of course can't find this agreement. Strange that they knew about the 2 months of no rent though if all the files were supposedly taken. So now, 6 years later, I am trying to lease another apartment in a different city and cannot because they turned my account over to a collection agency. When trying to rectify this, credit bureaus cannot verify information pertaining to this issue because the previous mgmt. co. is nowhere to be found and the current co. has no record of my living there. This isn't even legal folks, to up and leave and have no records left for the new mgmt co. How do they know who has or hasn't paid' But they sure as hell have a record of a past due balance at the collection agency. Amazing! This place has been screwing up my life for years. New management was of no help to me when I pleaded with them to help, they will be of no help to you. Renters beware.
