It's the pits, and expensive too!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005
I recently left this complex and have moved out of state. The entire time I was there I complained about my electricity and water bills being to high for just two people in the apartment (particularly when neither of us were there most of the time!). I was always given some excuse of an explanation to justify these high costs, especially the water, which the complex had some control over "how" it was billed. I got my first water bill at my new place. Let me explain that my new apartment is 300 square feet larger than that of the Villas. I use my dishwasher at least 3-4X each week (I used maybe 3-4X in three years I lived at Villas). I also have my own washer/dryer whereas I had to use the laundry facilities at Villas. I never paid less than $32 at Villas; $12 at my new place. Now who is getting screwed' I am not surprised to hear about the pool being closed down. It was always so clean when we first moved in and when we left... Well, the swamp is probably better for swimming! And yes, the apartments that manage to be occupied (I don't think I have ever seen the place completely occupied like most complexes are) either have thugs or bratty kids in them, neither of which cares much about anyone else there. Lynd was bad enough when they managed, but the new company was even worse! Lost my lease and other paperwork more than once and then threatened me because it wasn't on file. Take my advice, this isn't the place for even for lost cockroaches!!
