I thought about moving in, but then I found this site. The place looks nice, but then you notice all the broken locks, the rusted railings, the debris laden pool. The apartment I saw had a very old stove and there was rust on the burners and when I turned on the stove, smoke curled up! The place was filthy, the carpet old and tattered, should have been replaced decades ago. The repair job in the tub area was shoddy and the commode looked in poor condition. The screen door on the patio was immobile. There was grafitti in the laundry area and the residents were not very forthcoming and warned me not to move in.The landscaping was also in poor condition, the timbers falling and flower beds that were more of a muddy mess. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S

The scary part is that they showed you an apartment THEY thought was ready for viewing.

Yes, when we moved in May 2002, we were told the carpet was to be replaced. When we moved in, however, it had not and previous tenants were appaerntly smokers, as there were holes all over the place. The gang graffiti as of a year ago when we moved away was limited to back wall area. No one would "fix" since the wall technically belonged to the business that faced the other street. Since they didn't have to look at it, it wasn't a problem. For those of us in the complex, though, it was very ugly and bothersome, but managers usually did nothing. My car actually got spary painted the second year I lived there and manager said they could do nothing about that , too. I guess it has actually gone downhill since last year, though I wouldn't have believed it possible! It was in pretty bad shape then!
