I lived here for a year, and I must say it was a very bad experience for me. All of the other reviewers who said the managment is bad are completely true. I have lived in three other apartment complexes and never had a problem with management until the Vintage.
Theres also a lot of noise from dumptrucks and the nightclub nextdoor, and its really bad if your apartment is facing it.
I had a fruit fly infestation that they didn't resolve it. Basically they said I just have to live with it. Its part of being in San Antonio. This is flat out nonsense. None of my friends have this problem nearly as bad as I did.
A neighbor of mine had mold growing in his apartment that took repeated requests to do anything about. Eventually they ended up terminating their lease and to the Vintage's credit they paid for the moving costs.
And when I moved out I didn't get any of my deposit back. They make every resident pay out of his/her pocket to have their apartment professionally vacuumed, cleaned and painted, which takes up pretty much all of the deposit even if you have no damage.
The advantages to living here are the location (walk to UTHSCSA) and parking room. The construction quality is average. After you factor in all of the negatives, there are much better apartments in the area.
