So the laundry room facilities didn't suddenly disappear'

Management's recent comment about people not actually living in the apartments or being evicted for non-payment are untrue. I lived in the building for 4 years. It was a beautifully landscaped and wonderfully managed building, that is, until a new management team took over. I could complain about many things, but my main complaint is this: One day I carried all of my laundry downstairs to the laundry room that is provided for the residents. To my surprise, the room was empty! Management gave NO NOTICE that we would no longer have access to laundry facilities. When I went by the office to ask when the room would be up and running, I was told that it would be ready in about 2 weeks. When I mentioned that it management should have notified residents so other arrangement could be made I was told that the laundry facilities are just an "amenity" and they are not really part of the lease agreement. I don't give a &*^% if it's an amenity or not. When I signed the lease, I signed it because I new that I wouldn't have to go to a city laundry facility and sit there for 3 hours for all my clothes to finish to make sure they don't get stolen!!! It's a big freakin' deal! I stayed calm and asked if I could use the washer and dryer in the guest suite that was empty and I was told "no, not unless I wanted to rent the guest suite for the day." What jerks! To top it all off, the laundry room wasn't finished in two weeks as promised. As a matter of fact, 4 months later, upon moving out, the room was still empty!!! I had to start doing laundry at my friend's house. I could go on and on. Please be aware that this posting and other postings on the site are honest reflections of our experiences at the Vintage.
