The apartment complex management backed out on most of the verbal terms of agreement, such as: promising us that we could child-proof the apartment (which they did not allow), promising to replace our terribly damaged couter tops before our move-in (which they did NOT), and other issues.

My car's window was shattered by a drunken party on a Saturday night right in front of my windows!

Various items in the aprtment are significantly damaged: cracked toilets, severely dented walls, sliding doors that do not slide... A closet door simply fell off its hinges, severely malfunctioning plumbing. Many other items (door knobs, windows, toilet tanks are defected... etc.

A lot of neighbors that stay up till 5 AM playing loud music and talking loudly on their porches so that you can hear every word while you are trying to sleep. The apartments management refused to do anything about it, saying: "Just call the police".

Maintanence service is very deficient. Sometimes they do not even respond to a submitted WRITTEN request until you repeat it several times. The apartment is full of ants and crew's attempts to exterminate them failed miseribly.

Generally, it has been a very bad experience for us and we are gonna leave as soon as our lease is up, alghough we have considered to move out sooner. We have had plenty of legal reasons to break the lease, we just did not want the hassle. Plus, judging by the attitude of the staff we would most likely lose our deposit for this, and we just do not have time to sue them to get it back.

All of my maintenance requests, including my bathroom overflowing, were told to me were not emergencies, and that I needed to submit a written request. The office staff is not concerned with anything other than legality, not the customer. I lived here many years.
