All about money!! From: fed-up-mother Date posted: 4/7/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I live in a 3 bdr apt here and I must say that the apartment inside alone is pretty nice but the layout is a little unorganized. The one problem here at Vistas is there is NEVER any parking. NONE. I get home from work around 7pm and there is never any parking. I have a 15 month old son and cannot walk from the apartments across the street all the time, which is what happens alot. This forced me to get a garage, which they rent to me for $40/m. In that same week that i got the garage another resident told me that he received his garage the same day for $25/m and the first month free and he doesnt even have any children. I pay ALOT of money for my apt and i have compared it to other luxury apt and this one doesn't even come close. I can pay the same amount at other places and get a reserved parking spot and the apartment comes with garden tubs, raquetball courts, basketball courts, hot tubs, saunas, etc. This complex does not come with any of this. Not even a garden tub in the bathroom. The day I moved into the apt the apt wasn't even cleaned, carpets weren't vaccuumed and it was as if they were still working on it. When i notified the office they told me that i could put all discrepancies on a form that they have and that was it. I did so and nothing ever came of it. There is no landscaping here, just a bunch of buildings with not enough parking!! I wouldn't consider them "luxury" what-so-ever! When i asked how i could get out of my lease they told me that i couldn't and were very rude to me. One night the garage door key got locked inside the garage and we had no way of getting to our car. I had to take my son to the ER so i called 24-hour maintenance and they told me to get a taxi. I WAS APPALLED!!!! It took them over an hour just to call me back to tell me that they guy would be on his way in about 30 mins. Point is, if you're going to spend this kind of money, look around for something that is actually worth it!!!!!
