I'd have to say that overall this has been a bad experience. When I first moved in (2 years ago) I had no problems whatsoever (aside from parking issues), but my second year, is where the problems began. I had problems with neighbors being too loud and then getting blamed for it. I even got a lease violation when I wasn't home!
The lax vehicle towing policy should scare new residents as there is no verification process for the vehicles being towed (i.e. I could call the office, say I'm in a certain parking spot [even though it's not even my spot] and there's someone else parked in my spot, and they would be towed.) As someone else mentioned before the management changes are out of control, and the current managment is overall terrible. They don't treat problems like they are their own, and when confronted about the lease violation I got about noise when I wasn't home, I was told that I "probably left the stereo on, and that they checked to make sure it was me". Parking is a huge issue here as mentioned by someone else. There is maybe one parking spot per apartment so unless you want to park as far away as possible, you have to pay the outrageous $25 per month fee for a convered parking spot (I had to purchase 2 since my brother would otherwise have been unable to park.)
Move here...Park far...be annoyed...
