The Good
Neighbors were good and my apartment was pretty calm and peaceful. Good location and the interior design was nicer than most other apartments. Managment was fair with any work needed to be done and was always helpful.
The Bad
Had some urine stains in the carpet from a previous renter's dog that were steam cleaned but never really came out completly. Really annoying more than anything but it didn't have any scent after it was cleaned. We had a water pipe busted in building 6 around March of 2007 and it flooded my downstairs. The sheet rock was stained and the water was coming out through a light fixture. This happened at 8 pm so I called the emergency line. Unfortunantly, it is only an answering center that didn't have anyone to come and fix the problem immediatly. The next morning, the mantienance guy came to find the wall in terrible condition and a sizeable hole in the ceiling where the water was coming through.
They offered to pickup half the water bill because of this leak, considering that they didn't have anyone to fix it right away, which was fair. Also, they discounted my rent due to our circumstances for that month.
Overall, you get what you pay for and just about anyone can afford to stay at Wall street. You get your low lifes and noise ----'s but all-in-all, most neighbors and managment were good.
