I lived at the Waters from April 2004-May2005. it was the worst experience EVER. I would never recommend this apartment to anyone. My AC broke 3 times from June '04 thru August '04 and always took them at least a few days to fix it. The last time it broke, it took them a whole week to fix and i'm sure they only fixed it so "quickly" because I called the office twice a day to complain and followup. Then they decided the residents were told they were responsible for changing their own AC filter. WHAT' that was ridiculous! There were shady people everywhere, cars on blocks in the parking lot and their 3 sparkling pools were pools, cest pools maybe, disgusting! And according to my boyfriend when visiting, "I always step in duck ----." AND, ants everywhere! Not sugar ants, biting ants!! Toilet broke once, they fixed that the same day, Lord I thought it was going to snow they were so quick. Water leakage in the washer/dryer room on the patio, the water was leaking from the upstairs neighbors water heater, leaked so much it filled my washer. I complained and all they did was look at it and NOT fix the leak or the ruined ceiling where the light fixture was. I'll bet it's still in the same condition! AND, my upstairs neighbor was this really heavy set gal, I mean, she must have been corn fed or something and not light on her feet. That taught me to always rent an upstairs apt. Her noise level was atrocious and staff never gave her a warning. The only competant person there, was Sandy but unfortuntely she left too many mangerial decisions to the idiots in the office. Upon move out, my apt was SPOTLESS, yet i was accused of having fleas and charged for carpet cleaning and finally carpet replacement. I think if my apt had fleas I would know AND my cat visited his vet regularly and was continually on anti-flea/tick meds for prevention, for PREVENTION, never once did he have fleas. PREVENTION!!!! BUT, the day I moved out, turned in my keys, there was a new girl there, bleached out hair, smoked like a chimney and trashy as ever, accused me of being afraid to walk thru the apt with her because I was afraid they would bill me for something. I was so angry! I had my cat in my truck and it was HOT, I was ready to get the heck out of that trash hole. Sure, it was my mistake for leaving and not walking thru, that mistake i learned from, but smoke permeated thru that lady's skin and clothes, it was hard just talking to her face to face, much less be in the same apt with her. Disgusting, but I guess it goes with the complex.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPLEX!

If you live by a lake you are going to deal with the duck ----. You are not the only person in the complex so things take a while. You could live in worse places. Oh by the way did you pay a pet deposit because that would cover the carpet and cleaning. You probably didn't and if you let your cat outside it probably had fleas.

Oh please. Wheel1, the managers are notorious for trying to falsely charge and arm and a leg to people who move out. Also, taking a WEEK to fix an appliance is absolutely ridiculous. It aparment complexes much larger than the Waters, it still doesn't take that long. Maybe they shouldn't be so cheap and actually hire some extra help.
