Just fine!!

I moved here two and a half months ago and I think it's just fine. The management is friendly and my maintenance problems have been fixed quickly - usually within a couple of days. The maintenance staff is very friendly. You do hear sirens at night, but you get used to it. If you live by a hospital megaplex, what can you expect' Anywhere in the area is going to have that problem.
We had a few roaches when we first moved in because it had been vacant and they had just put in new carpet, wallpaper, etc. so that is to be expected. They have an exterminator come every week, so if you have a problem, they'll come and spray. We also bought a can of bug spray just to have on hand and have had absolutely no problems since the first couple of weeks.
The apartments are older, but they seem to try to keep them well-maintained. The landscaping is well-kept. True, there is not a space for kids to play (although there is supposed to be a playground put in sometime - don't know when). We solve the problem by going to a park. There are several in the SA area. I have had no problems with groups of people hanging around my car smoking or being loud. I have felt safe here, so no complaints from me. I do have a neighbor who sometimes will play music at maximum volume (which would probably be able to hear anywhere), but other than that, I can never tell when my neighbors are home or not.
Overall, for the price, space, location and staff, I think it's a good place to live.
