I have been living here for about three months now. I chose this place because it was the cheapest. Now I can't wait to get the hell out when the lease is up.
Electricity is paid to Wellington Estate rather than directly to the electricity compnay. I have never gotten a bill from them from the start. I had to ask for the amount owed. I did not do that for the previous month because things have been busy and it slipped my mind. It's not like there was a reminder in the mailbox. So I got a notice on my door that I saw when I was on my way out for work. It was dated the for the day before, and it said the notice was "hand-delivered" to the resident. I had the day off, but no one rang my doorbell to give it to me. I brought that up to the guy at the leasing office, Carlos, and he said he doesn't like to talk face-to-face with the residents. What a damn scared little coward. He should grow up and move out of his mama's house and grow a pair of balls. It doesn't take much to ring a resident's doorbell and say "we haven't recieved your electricity payment, and here's a notice for it."
When I said I didn't pay the electric bill because I never got a bill, he didn't hesitate to pass the blame onto the post office, like the twelve-year-old that he is. Wait a minute, a twelve-year-old has more a spine than that. The month before that I brought it up to Brittany (the other employee at the office) the month before. Obviously she didn't bring it up with anyone because the problem hasn't been fixed.
By the time I actually get my bill in the mail, it'll be time for the lease to end (that day isn't coming fast enough).
They also don't give a ---- that the delivery services (UPS, USPS, etc.) leave packages at your door, so stuff can get stolen during the day while you're at work. Yes, it happened to me. When I brought that up with Carlos, he said "and you're telling me this because ...'" Well, how about call the damn UPS and try to get the drivers to stop leaving ---- at doors!!
Their business hours are from 9AM to 6PM, but they can often be seen locking up the office at 5:15.
The laundry rooms don't have coin machines, so if you don't have quarters and you need to do laundry, you better drive to a bank to get some.
I would never dream of going into their pools because there's a layer of filth on the bottom and the water looks dirty.
Ants and roaches get into the apartment, no matter what gets done to get rid of them.

First of all you need to quit your whinning... I have never had a problem with getting my electricity bill, and if you do one month what's the problem in calling and asking? You say that it's because "it slipped your mind" well how convinent that slips your mind yet you probably don't forget to pay your rent or do you? Seems to me that when you're making your payment, it should click that you need the amount to your light.. just a suggestion! Secondly, if you were to actually do the research on UPS you would find that sadly it is at the drivers discretion to leave the package where THEY feel it to be secure. So if you have a problem with that you need to take that up with UPS not the office Sherlock. Now for the laundry facility, I have lived in many different apt complex in San antonio and many other cities and have yet to see a coin machine in any of them. What you are thinking of is a laundry mat, you want a coin machine then go there. Ants/Roaches well i guess you are not a very clean person because so far the years i have lived here i have yet to have that problem. From my experience the price is great for the large floorplans, the staff is great, I will however admit if you need something done don't talk to Brittany, she is sweet but a little clueless, maint. is friendly and issues I have had were resolved within the most 1 week (and that's because they were there everyday working on the issue) My family and i were offered the model home for the inconvinences. I have lived here for several years and already renewed my lease.
