We had a very similar experience to the renters that gave their opinion on 04/25/2002. While we lived at Westlakes Villas we did not ask for much. When we had a problem, the office staff or answering service gladly took our information. Maintenance would attempt to fix the problem, but shortly after we would call again for the same problem. It was probably a combination of incompetent staff, and old hardware that management refused to replace. We moved out when our lease expired and are continuing to have problems with receiving our deposit. We were assured that the apartment was in immaculate condition, (which it actually was) and we would be receiving the deposit. We have yet to see our deposit after many phone calls and visits back to the Westlakes Villas Main Office. This does not really surprise us considering there were many promises made that could not be fulfilled. The staff would later point out reasons that the promise could not be fulfilled. Reasons usually were due to disclosers that did not exist when the promise was made, or the promise was made by someone that did not did not have authority to make those promises. (In summary we were constantly given the run around). Good luck to current residents, hopefully nothing major breaks. We do not recommend this apartment complex anyone.
