You know, I have read all of these reviews slamming this apartment complex for things that are untrue or are indicative of most apartment complexes. For example, either taking the current special or the employer discount (all apartments give you that choice)! In addition, the management is there to support the residents & they do a fine job of that. They have responded to all of my maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner. The maintenance staff is really nice as well.
These apartments are the nicer looking apartments in the area. Yes, they may be more expensive than the ones directly next door, but if you do a survey of the area and include amenities you will see that West Pond is priced competitively.
In addition, complaints about neighbors and all of that will be there no matter where you live (even in a residential neighborhood) so you might as well accept it. It will also occur on any side of town!
One of the best things about these apartments is the fact that they are very convenient to the major highways, employers, and shopping centers.
I also must say that the management had a lot to do with my decision to move here. They were always available, on the phone or in the office & responded immediately to any question or need that I had.

This person's review appears to most likely have come from someone connected with the apartment complex. I found the facility maintenance personell though nice in character, lacking with timely repairs, they took 3 months to fix our dishwasher, in addition to lights with non working lamps in the various corridors being inoperable, excessive trash accumulation, a laundry facility with broken washers, and the ever non working rear gates! Not to mention the shooting resulting in a tenants death! This place is newer than the other apartments in the area but that is the only potential positive I could think of. I wholly disagree in regards to the price analysis, they are much more expensive in comparison to other communities in a 10 mile radius - without any benefit. But in fact what is most ironic about this person's post on the West Pond Apt. complex is that he/she hits it on the nail - IT IS THE MANAGEMENT THAT DOES SUCH A POOR JOB. I for one wouldn't have minded spending more if they had only tried to keep the place in better condition instead of letting it get run down. New management could do this place a world of good!
