I have lived at Whispering Creek Villas since I moved to San Antonio in March, 1998, when the property was less than 5 years old. I spent considerable time comparing apartments near the Medical Center, and although the rents were a little
higher than most apartment complexes at that time due to the newness of the property, I rented a place here anyway and I have never regretted it. The rents have come down since then, and I honestly believe that Whispering Creek is a good value for the dollar. I have a washer/dryer in my unit and a garage for the same money I could easily spend elsewhere w/o those amenities.

The management has changed several times since I have lived here. The office staff has also changed periodically through this timeframe, and their level of conscientiousness has varied (as it does everywhere). Overall, however, if I have
had an issue, it gets taken care of.

In terms of maintenance, I would say that Whispering Creek is well above average in getting things fixed in short order, as they have very competent folks who have been around this complex for many years.

My only real beef with the place is what I consider to be a completely useless answering service. Everytime I call I get put on hold and then when I need to speak to someone who might live on site, I am told that that person will be called and I will get a phone call and it never comes. I frankly don't believe that onsite people are being contacted on these occasions.

In the big picture, I cannot justify moving elsewhere given my overall positive experience here.
