My wife and I (no children) have lived in this complex for about 10 months. Overall it has been a great experience. After reading several of the reviews below I though I would share my experience. Most of the tenants in the smaller apts here are students at the Health Science Center and are for the most part very quite (I never even knew until about 2 months ago that I had a neighbor across the hall). The larger apts seem to be filled with families and older adults. To be honest pretty much everyone that I have met here has been a nice person and friendly. My wife and I have been to a few pot luck style dinners in the club house that where very enjoyable. One of the main reasons that I chose to move to this complex is that it feels very safe. I feel very safe here and my wife feels very safe here. If crime does exist here (which it may) I am not aware of it. My apt. was very clean when I moved in and I have not had any problems yet. My wife and I use the work out facility several days a week and it is OK. The exercise bike is old and doesn t really work and there is only one 25 pound dumbbell, which is frustrating. Those are the only problems I have with the gym, otherwise it is nice. The pool area is very nice; the only drawback is that the hot tub does not really work too well. Personally, I like the office staff. They treat me very nice when I come in to eat cookies and get packages. I have sent two or three faxes from the office without any problems. It also seems like I received one fax. They allow pets, but there are some restrictions that they made me aware of when I moved in. They do not allow larger more aggressive dog breeds that have a history of violence and I am happy that they don t. Since I haven t had any problems with repairs I cannot comment on the speed of the maintenance staff. I have, however, spoken to one of the maintenance workers (who I see nearly every day on the grounds) and he told me that he liked working here and that since the complex changed to the new management company that they gave him a raise and much better benefits, which makes him happy. The business center has computers that are decent, wireless internet, and all in all is a good place to study (It is very likely you will find med students studying there during all hours of the night). I enjoy this complex, I have made friends here that I BBQ with once in a while, it s close to the Medical center and off busy roads, and I would say that overall it is an excellent package.
