My roommate and I have been leasing a 2BR/2BA apartment since January and I have to say that I am extremely happy here. If it weren't for the fact that my roommate is moving to another city, I would definitely continue to lease here. My lease is up in June and I am currently looking for a place that is more affordable for me, being a senior at St. Mary's University and only being able to work part-time. I visited nearly every apartment in the Med Center and found that Whispering Creek Villas is by far the best you can get for the amount of money you'll be paying for rent. The apartments are gorgeous and the rooms are spacious. The pool is great and there's a sauna, which is pretty neat except for the fact that I haven't had time to use it. As far as maintenance goes, I have had to put in a couple of work orders and both times they responded in a timely fashion and fixed the problems. I haven't really had to deal with management all that much, but they have always been very friendly whenever I stop in to ask them questions. The only complaints I have rest with the location of my particular apartment. If you should choose to live here, I STRONGLY suggest you opt for a 2nd floor apartment as far away from the basketball court as you can get. I live on the 1st floor underneath the loudest child known to man I can't even understand how such a small person can be so obnoxious and loud! Also, my bedroom is right next to the basketball court and, although people aren't out there all the time, the bouncing of the ball and the yelling of the players is well it's not really conducive to studying. That's my only suggestion because I wish I would have thought about it before I leased that particular apartment lease on the 2nd floor away from the basketball court. This is a wonderful place to live...I've enjoyed the past 6 months here. I have recommended it to others, including family members, and I would love to stay here if I could. Ok, that's all I've got.
