Since management is so keen to defend themselves on this website, I would like to send an open invitation to management to answer the following questions regarding the horrific experience that my family and I have had since we moved in.
1. Why do you advertise as a gated community when your gates are non-functional' Judging from the rusted, damaged gate equipment, it's obvious you have no intention of repairing the gates. Can you tell me this is not false advertising'
2. Can you explain four consecutive misdiagnoses of our hot water heater, causing my wife and kids to take cross-town treks to take hot showers at a relative's house' Maintenance seems courteous and knowlegeable, but four incorrect diagnoses and several days without hot water'
3, Can you explain how, on the day we moved in, we found the apartment in a state of disrepair, with a missing door, brown water, outlet covers ripped out, and non functional doorknobs and locks'
4. Can you explain the guarantee that we would have the missing door installed and painted in a timely manner, only to have the work order completely blown off without so much as a courtesy call'
I do not ask much for very much from management except competence, service, and a decent, clean place to live. My wife and I chose to ignore most of the reviews posted on this site, viewing them as extreme examples and not indicative of life here. Please prove me wrong, because my faith in this management is rapidly disappearing down the toilet that won't stop running.

| Yes, currently we do have our gates open. This is for better accessibility for our residents due to the on going road construction. From my understanding you did have hot water but hot water was not lasting very long. So, here's what our maintenance team found each time: 1st time changed out water heater thermostat. 2nd time adjusted water heater temperature. 3rd time breaker was tripped. 4th time due to breaker tripping it damaged thermostat, so we then replaced thermostat again and changed out both of your heating elements. Your interior closet door was on order, I spoke to your wife about door being on order. The brown water can be caused if no one has run water. Once you run your water the water does clear up. The outlet was a cable outlet. I think you spoke with our maintenance and one of our office staff regarding outlet. Since the apartment is not set up for each room to have cable sometimes cable outlets do have to be modified. When you were informed of this you did not want outlet removed because that would mean you would not have cable in your bedroom. The door knob did stick and a new one was installed. The lock issue if I remember correctly, we did get you a new mailbox lock and key. As I mentioned previously, your door was on order as soon as it came in we did install. We ordered paint for interior door and once we received your door was going to be painted. I know we were going to paint door but your wife was concerned about paint odor. So, we had to wait to do at a later time. We do apologize for some of the delays. Our maintenance team has gone to your apartment previously on several occasions to get some of your work request done but your wife has turned away our maintenance staff due to your son being ill or they were trying to get some rest. Which we can understand when you're not feeling well the best thing is rest. Thank you letting me know about your toilet running. My maitenance staff and office staff went up to check toilet. Your wife said that there was nothing wrong. Plase call me with any further questions or concerns. | |

wait 30 days with out them doing anything about it
BINGO that POS Rick just broke your' lease and you are free to leave
Rick is worthless, he comes from the management training class
that teachers managers to scumbag EVERYTHING.
trust me if he's there when you move out
EVEN IF YOU PAY PROFESSIONALS TO CLEAN
you still get the maximum cleaning charge,
oh yeah you get the charge for paint, and also the carpet
even though after you live in a unit for over 2 years
deal with MULTIPLE pipe bursts, upstairs flooding into your'
place ruining al your' stuff and leaving messes,
HE WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT AS WELL, he is constantly
firing the maintenance staff to hire people who will tell him
what he wants to hear, also Rick would rather replace parts of
broken AC units then pay a small amount more for a new one.
I spoke to the maintenance people there a lot when I lived there
and they even told me the management will not let them make repairs.
GO THROUGH YOUR' LEASE find a hole in it and get out ASAP
the management is SCUM, and
Any property managed by
Lakequest Enterprises Inc. DO NOT LIVE THERE
they are threatening to report us to collections
for money they think we owe, but get this they wanted WAY over
1000$ to begin with but now are just asking for 200$
sounds like they just want money....THEY ARE SCUM
a few of us past residents are planning on taking them to court
and don't you worry Rick, we'll see you in court soon enough!

In response to the manager's reply, I will certainly contact you directly by email or phone from now on, as I do not intend to make this an ongoing public debate. Truth be told we would like nothing more than to just get the repairs complete and be done with it. We have found maintenance to be courteous and pleasant for the most part. However, to state that anybody was turned aside because of concern for paint odor is simply not true. No one ever said that, at any time. Most disturbingly, we were told that the painter came to our apartment and knocked but no one answered. We were home, we were not operating heavy machinery or pneumatic drills, and we are not hard of hearing, so we found this impossible to believe. We then found out through the maintenance technician that in fact, the painter never did come after all.
Please understand that whether he came or not is irrelevant. We understand schedules change and things happen. The point is, when we were told that he had been here and knocked, but no one answered, it was completely made up. It comes off as very bad business when stories are completely fabricated from the ground up and it is being knowingly passed off as fact. That was the whole purpose of posting this publicly- because it isn't something petty or nit-picky; something of this nature should be a major concern to prospective tenants. If you were in our shoes, really, wouldn't that bother you just a little bit?
I'll reply further on the water heater privately, since the culprit is the unit itself, and not any of the diagnoses listed. Thank you for the reply.
