Can't wait to move out!

My experience with this complex hasn't been too great. During my stay this past year, the complex has experience murders, car jackings, family violences, and drug problems. To be honest, I've been unhappy with this complex since the first day. The first night I moved in, I witnessed a house party in session w/ loud music being played a few doors down (w/ the smell of marijuana coming out from that apt).
I recall someone warning to not let the model room fool you into living here. That is exactly what happened to me. When I moved into my current apt, I learned quickly that the rest of the complex is not nearly kept up as well as that model apt. Upon moving in, I inherited old, stained carpet, poorly painted walls, and an outdated and nearly broken down A/C unit (which did not provide cool air). It doesn't end there. The water that comes out the founcets and shower head is highly contaminated (the discoloration sometimes ranges from a somewhat clear to brown...yes, BROWN!).
Another common problem I've experienced deals with random people stopping me in the parking lot of the complex and asking for money or food. The sad thing is that most of these people live within the complex, while the others are from the apartment complex next door to whispering oaks. Speaking of the parking lot, I often worry for my vehicle. People here have no respect for other people's personal belongings. Literally, 90-95% of the vehicles here are at least dented, keyed, or partially wrecked from others being careless here. 50% of the lot looks like a junk yard due to the fact that half of the cars are immobile or wrecked.
I can seriously go on and on, but quite frankly, I'm sick of thinking of all the problems that circumvent within this complex. Just do yourself a favor and look else where. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

| There will always be a variety of living experiences, whether one lives in an apartment community or not. As you mentioned, you can have issues here at this community, though these issues can arise in any property. It may not be very pleasant at times but the only thing you can do is stay alert and report any issues that may arise to the office so they can be addressed as per lease agreement. It does help when we do have caring residents that report issues quickly so we can take the necessary and appropriate actions. Every resident has their own way of looking at things. Items that you may address may not be a big factor to someone else. We will review and make needed repairs as concerns are brought to our attention. We are not a new community therefore, we do encourage our residents to fill out their move in condition form. This protects the residents when and if they do move out so as not to charge them for any imperfections that may have already existed. We will address any written request by our resident once they have been submitted to our office. We will gladly take care of your a/c and water issues as soon as we have your work order in writing. Vehicles are tagged as stated in lease agreement and are towed as regulated by law. Again, we cannot manage individual behavior and/or their condition of their vehicles. Each applicant is screened the same as you were when you applied or transferred here. So each individual gets qualified the same way. Please feel free to contact me with any further comments. | |
