DO NOT RENT HERE!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I saw another in here say "prepare for a law suit when you leave." He couldn't have been more right! We were going to move to a bigger apartment in this complex. We gave them notice we were moving out of our current apartment and would be moving to another. The one we were going to move into, the resident decided not to move, so we stayed in the one we were in. Then the staff was very nice and called us to tell us that the resident decided to move out after all. We said ok cool. They said it would be ready by the end of the month. We gave them the $600 for the apt and picked up the keys. They said we'd have to wait until 5pm to move in because they were replacing the carpet. ... by 5pm, this was at 2pm. Like hell! No one can replace a 2br carpet in 3 hours with no prior prep work done. Not to mention that it was smaller than the 1 br we were already in. Then when we said no way, never mind, we're moving out (after we found a nice apartment for only a little more) elsewhere, they became very angry, said we didn't give them notice, would have to pay an extra $75 fee for not taking the 2br, and all kinds of BS. This all right after there was a fire that destroyed 4 apartments, and the hot water was out in this part of the complex (central boiler system) for 10 DAYS!!! NO HOT WATER FOR 10 DAYS STRAIGHT!.. Never even a letter in the mail apologizing for the inconvenience of having to bath in cold water (including our 3 year old child)!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
