I used to live in these apartment back when I graduated from College. Let me tell you the hassle I've gotten myself into in those days. First, I was shown the apartments options and I elected an efficiency one since it was only for myself. They've shown me one apartment I liked, but when contract sign was due, they assigned me another one! view to parking lot! It was horrible, but stayed there anyways. Then, there were the usual maintenance issues with the bathroom. They would take weeks before reparing it. I didn't like using the dishwasher, so I basically did disposable foam dishes and plastic "silverwares". Soliciting was so common that I had people knocking on my door during the afternoon (I worked night shift, so it was a problem!)

In the end, when I was to leave the apartment, I had told managment to mail me the deposit check to a foreign country address, because I had to leave the US. To my surprise they didn't send me the check! One year later, I came back to San Antonio and stopped by their management office for my refund and they just gave me 50% of the deposit arguing that the carpet was dirty, dish washer wasn't working, etc. Needless to say, all their comments were pure crap. I had the carpet steamed a few weeks before I left, I've never used the dishwasher. So, I felt ripped off, and didn't have a chance to express my deepest dissapointment on the way I was treated. Now with the Internet it's payback time for me to put out words of my concern, even 10 years later!
Management, this was no way to treat tenants with lies and deceptions. You wouldn't have liked if I were to tell you I had no pets, but kept three dogs that left droppings around your backyard! So, be honest with your tenants and ex-tenants. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
