Here are some facts that I would like to point out to potential residents from the perspective of a current tenant...

The good....

- Parking lot in great condition.
- Trees/Shrubs/Grass maintained nicely.
- Management/Staff always courteous.
- Although overworked due to the age of this complex, maintenance eventually gets to you.
- Washer / Dryer in each unit
- Dishwasher in each unit
- Someone picks up trash everyday. Just the wrappers and bottles left out in the parking lot and on sidewalks by people leaving.

The bad...
- Overpriced. Especially since there are many new apartments around.
- Noisy. The majority of the tenants seem to be college students. I believe this is why there is always someone making noise most nights. Also, the police come out often to break up parties. Another noise issue is the Interstate. Listen carefully from your potential bedroom if you can and try to imagine yourself sleeping with the Interstate traffic.
- Age. This is an old complex. The insulation is poor and the units are not made to support modern day things such as Broadband. I had to have a new cable put in to get Internet access.
- No cable jack upstairs.
- Pool/Spa is often dirty. In fact, my wife and I rarely swim in it during the summer for this reason.
- Exercise equipment is often broken.
- Traffic often cuts across the parking lot in front of my apartment to avoid a busy intersection.
- Trailers allowed being stored in parking lot (eye sore to me).
- Poor lighting at night
- Nice volleyball courts, but no net for quite sometime now.
- Basketball goal broken the last time I checked.

In summary...this is an okay place to live but I wouldn't pay the $715 I'm paying now. I haven't priced other apartments but I wouldn't pay more than $600 for my current apartment if I were to consider staying another year.

My wife and I are planning to move once our lease is up. We no longer feel like this is a pleasant place to live. Perhaps the two cars racing across the parking lot tonight to avoid that intersection was the deciding factor. They wouldn't be the first.
