autumn chase is the worst place ever! like everyone else said, they show you a really nice apartment with new everything and a mirrored wall and then they move you into a tiny crackhouse that i?m sure violates every health code in the world. there was a giant bush outside my dining room window so i couldn?t see outside at all unless i went upstairs. i had skanky construction/maintenance men outside my door at all hours of the day EVERY DAY working on who knows what, and they would hit on me and whistle at me every freakin? time i went to and from my place. not only that, but they would start pounding hammers early in the morning every day and stomp around on the roof all day long. i had ants downstairs and it took them 3 months to come spray. that place wasn?t even suitable for my cat; i had to move him out in january because he seemed to always be sick and lethargic in that place. the washer wouldn?t even open all the way because it was stacked under a dryer that didn?t go with it, so laundry was always a pain and there was no light in the laundry closet, so i had to feel around to see that i got all my clothes out. i moved in in august of 2003 and needed to move out in december/january because this all got really annoying, so they told me they?d find me someone to sub-lease. well, they finally did in april and told me i needed to get out immediately because someone was taking over my lease. so i moved out that weekend and then got a bill totaling more than $3200 saying i broke my lease and no one had re-occupied the place. so i am now about to take them to court because they are being very uncooperative. and the manager never comes out and talks to you, she just tells the staff what to say from her office in the back of the main office. so, this was definitely a hell hole with an incompetent staff who are all useless retarded toolbags. someone please burn autumn chase down!!!
