I have lived at Bobcat Village for about 2 years now and I think the management staff is terrible. The accountant constantly aggravates me because she is bad with math and at explaining things clearly and once sent me a bill, failing to realize that it was a mistake. When I spoke with the manager once, she was completely rude to me and flat out lied to me saying that everyone who wanted to find a sublease found one "except for you," I doubt I was the only one who was unable to find someone to sublease for the summer. Who would want to live a few yards away from train tracks where the train passes at least 10 times a day, at all hours of the night, literally. Why have I lived here for 2 years you ask' Well, they got me with the gimmick of signing a new lease early to "lock in" my current rate because the rates "might increase next year". The rates stayed the same, and I was trapped into living here another year. I wish I would have checked out other apts before jumping the gun and signing a new lease with Bobcat Village.
Now for some positive feedback. Fully furnished, all bills paid, cable, internet, bus route, nice, clean apartments...If only they would shampoo my carpet like I asked 3 months ago...What angers me though is that my neighbors have been so loud this year I can hear them yelling every thursday night outside when I'm trying to sleep. Thin walls are a major problem. On top of that, I came home one day to find ketchup splattered all over my balcony! That weekend there was trash everywhere around the complex from cans, papers, someones rug was in the grass, and spoons, and silly string, and oh ya, the empty plastic ketchup bottle. These kids need to be more respectful, they are trashing the complex this year and I am very aggravated about that.
