I haved lived here for over a year, it has had it's pros and con's. Being texas state related I was a little wiery about moving in here, but I was told that it was not managed by residence life, and coming from a dorm, that was very important to me. I have been informed that all the staff (except the ra's) were let go because texas state is going to be running the place now. I have had really bad experiences with residence life in the past, and I am aware how strict, cheap, and poorly operated they are. Have you seen Comanche Hill, and Clear Springs' It is only a matter of time that this place becomes a slum! Not to mention I really liked the staff that is no longer here. I would NOT recommend living here at all. It is called bobcat village APARTMENTS, and that is how it should be, not bobcat village DORMS! And that is exactly what is will become.

Bobcat Village Apartments will stay apartments, how could they become dorms? Having Texas State University step in as the management is probably the best thing that has ever happened at Bobcat Village Apartments. The former private managment was full of crooks and dishonesty was a policy. If you have any sense at all, you will know that the new management change is a wonderful expression of justice !!! WOOHOOo!!!!!
