So... I've been here 3.5 years ... and yes ... I came when it was 495 a month all bills ... but now it's 520 a month all bills paid ...

so really now ... 520 a month for a washer and drier, fully furnished place with cable and internet'

That's not really a bad price ... and some people say you can't have more than 3 people in the living room at a time ... I have more than 3 guests over all the time and there is plenty of room!

And as for all the people who complain about the parking and their friends getting tickets ... everything inside the fence is for Residents only ... and everything on the other side of the fence ... in that HUGE parking lot ... is for non-residents..
there is plenty of room for parking!

maintanance has always been good to us... replacing lights... filters ... ect...

so all in all... there are cheaper places out there that have roommate matching and stuff ...

but for only a 2/2 that's got everything you need to live included in one price ...
for the new residents paying 520 a month .. that's still a pretty good deal.

I think it is really sad that texas state has sinked so low to write these fake reviews. Am I suprised? No. Texas state is the worst..money hungry university. What are they doing running an apartment community anyway? Shouldn't thier investments be in education? Maybe that explains why half of there alumni do not have decent jobs, or education for that matter. If you have lived in San Marcos long enough you would know that this university has tried to own EVERYTHING..including the natural SM river!! They take everything, run it into the ground, and put restricions on places and business for their own profit. Why the name change from SWT? Because of the BAD reputation it had, nothing has changed BUT the name, in fact it has gotten worse. Stay AWAY from bobcat village and everything TX state has to offer..transfer to another school, if you are thinking about going to TSU..don't, spend your money wisely, get a REAL education, and as far as this apartment community...it is a joke, a mier attempt of what an apartment community should be like!

I'm not management ... i'm a grad student here in building 3 .. come on by and party sometime! :) and as for a job? 55K a year isn't bad for a guy working on his masters ... though i do agree ... everything tx state touches turns to ---- ... maybe i just road the wave at the right time! :) and where else would they need to go to school? i have 5 friends that graduated from UT several years ago to now ... and non of them have jobs ... dispite how hard they look ... so i don't think it's the university ... i think its the person applying ... if you're having trouble getting hired somewhere ... maybe its you! :)

OK, as far as that whole "other parking lot" comment. Have you noticed that, that parking lot is a Texas State Communter parking lot and people who don't go to Texas State still get parking tickets there. Sorry all your friends go to Texas State but for those of us who know people from else where there isn't adequate visitor parking!
