The apartment is great, I think that the floorplan is good and the fireplace is nice. My problems come in when it comes to the management, and the maintenance. The apartment complex is old, so naturally the appliances are old and break down constantly. Instead of buying new appliances to replace the old ones, they are constantly cannabilizing appliances from vacant apartments and from the shed that they have filled with old appliances. My washer and dryer have been consistently broken throughout my year here and it has been the same thing over and over. Also when my microwave broke, it took them 2 months to fix it. I pay enough for this apartment to have all the appliances working and not have to wait months for them to be fixed. The maintenance men try their best, but the management spends their money on improving the landscaping to lure more suckers in rather than improving the actual apartments, so the maintenance have to try to figure out ways to fix the appliances when they really need to be replaced.
