So Far So Good

I have now lived here since June for a total of about 4 months now. Within that time period I have had a few minor maintanence issues. Each time I put in a work order it was responded to in a very timely fashion. The maintanence staff seems very qualifiend and knowledgeable when it comes to fixing everything from water heaters to plumbing issues. I have also had the pleasure of dealing with the manager, Eric. This gentlemen has worked very hard to make sure some of the local troublemakers and gangbangers are unable to spend their time here, and has even gone as far as processing criminal trespass warnings. His concern with this issue has led to a HUGE difference in the amount of unnecessary traffic and noise in the pool and basketball court areas. The residents can feel safe and relaxed now. I do agree with some of the previous posts that the water leak has caused an increase in charges, however, I have seen first hand city workers digging and attempting to fix the issue. In my opinion stuff like that should be expected to happen in an older complex. I feel the rates are very reasonable and my particular unit seems to have been maintained very well and was very clean upon move in.
Lastly, Shenee does an amazing job and seems to be the woman to go to no matter what the issue is. I have found her to be very capable of handling ANY situation and has no problem talking sternly to kids that were making trouble over the summer. When engaging in a coverstaion with her it immediately becomes obvious that she actually enjoys people and talking with them. She is always the first to say hi if you pass her as she sits with her family on her porch. I am very impressed with her management skills and her ability to remember so many names!! Great job....

In conclusion, I will gladly resign here and upgrade to a two bedroom apartment. While there may be some minor issues that are still in the process of getting fixed, the benefits most definately make up for the little things.I can confidently say that this complex is very safe for all ages. While there are a few college students living here, there is no reason that a family would not be able love living here. This has to be one of the quietest apartment complexes I have ever lived out but yet still has the potential to have some great social gathering around the bar-b-q pit, sand volleyball courts, baskeball courts, and always clean pool area.
