I have lived at Clarewood for almost 1 year now, and I am about to move out. Honestly, the overall experience I have had has been very pleasant here. I don't have any animals, so that may help (I know the manager can be strict with pet fines).
I was a little annoyed that the manager position changed several times while I lived here, but this last one has seemed to be here for a while now. Other than that my only complaint is the late fees for being a couple of days late on rent. It does not matter that you have paid on time EVERY other month, you will pay late fees!
Clarewood has a very nice property, and the grounds are always maintained. Terry (the maintenance man) is also very professional, and gets things fixed or replaced quickly. This really is a very quiet community as well, which is something I am thankful for.
All and all I would recommend Clarewood to the upper-classmen of Texas State, b/c it might not be loud enough for the freshmen!
