agree w/ the last review- dogs are a problem or I should say dog owners are a problem- anytime you have people who refuse to leash their dogs, there is going to be problems.I even see people trying to walk 3 dogs at a time or they will have two on a leash and let one run free, makes NO SENSE. The balconies and porches here are looking bad from tires to boxes and all kinds of junk being stored outside making the place look raggedy. The management here is not really bad, maybe they are just overloaded. They have rules. It's just that trashy people don't care about them and the manager needs to get those people out of here. They say that they will fine you if you don't pick up after your dog, leash your dog, leave trash outside your apartment, but there is no way they are fining these people or this stuff or it would stop ! Who has money for extra fines ' I hope they get a grip. This could be a decent place to live. it is a great location. Oh, and the police being around here all the time is true but, I think it's usually because someone ran through the property to hide. It would be great to get access gates to stop that and the car break-ins.

POLICE ARE OUT HERE MORE AND MORE ! MORE CAR BREAK-INS AND SHADY CHARACTERS IN THE INTERNET CAFE ! THIS PLACE IS NOT GOING TO PAY FOR ACCESS GATES. RULES ? WHAT GOOD ARE RULES IF THEY ARE NEVER ENFORCED ? PLACE HAS GONE TO THE DOGS..LITERALLY !! I DO NOT RECOMMEND !!

I don't have a problem with safety, or any of the dogs. My main review is of the apartment and staff. I love animals, and why would you want a gate? They always break and scratch cars...We don't live in Houston people. I've never had a safety problem in San Marcos, people are very white here.
