I moved into Clarewood apartments July 09.' For starters, we were mislead by management about the estimate cost of water per month. In truth, I was an idiot for believing what I was told. She said that the water bill would be around $25 per apartment, but if not, the apartment itself would figure out a new plan and we would not have to pay much over $25. WRONG! Leave it to me, believing that there are still a few honest people in this world, those figures have been way off. Every month our bill has been approximately $50, no matter how much water we use. One month we were gone for at least 3 weeks and the bill was still the same. We were told that the cost would not be per building, but per unit. The apartment complex is old, therefore it has a lot of problems with its pipes. I don't know how many times maintenance has shut the water off to fix "whatever it is" that needs to be fixed without leaving a note to inform us that the water would be off. It's bad enough that I pay so much for water, then on top of all of that I come back from the gym to find no running water after I've already used the bathroom. Hope you don't have to go to work, because you'll be using water bottles to rinse yourself off so that you won't smell like crap while you're at work. I hate to sound so negative about this place. The guys that work the front office are really nice and as helpful as within their range of authority. However, I would not recommend these apartments until they get their water situation fixed. I forgot to add, my toilet makes random loud noises throughout the day and night, both annoying and embarrassing.
